Shooting claims life of man in Nicetown

No arrests have been made.

Philadelphia police are investigating a killing near Fernhill Park in the predawn hours Sunday.

A 37-year-old man was shot in the head and chest in the 4900 block of Laurens Street shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday, police reported.

There were no arrests made as of Sunday evening.
