Have a tax abatement? Donate it to Philly’s public schools, nonprofit urges.

The Foundation for the School District of Philadelphia sent 4,500 letters to property owners who have 10-year tax abatements and asked them to consider donating their tax savings. City schools could reap millions of dollars.
