Political Cartoon: Mitch McConnell comforts the nation

After this past weekend’s carnage in El Paso and Dayton, Mitch McConnell’s spokesman says the leader of the United States Senate wants to do something that at a minimum “comforts” the nation. I’d be comforted if we could take serious measures to stop the bloodshed. How about making sure all our gun owners are part of that well-regulated militia mentioned in the Second Amendment?
