Political Cartoon: Philadelphia’s Oil Refinery Park

The South Philly oil refinery explosion and fire two weeks ago awakened the city to some tough realities. The main one is that we can’t wish ourselves into a green future without dealing with the nearly thousand people who make their living from refining the gas that fuels (almost all) of our cars. Those skilled workers did an amazing job of containing the explosion. They deserve to be treated with respect.
