Bryce Harper and his wife Kayla announced the birth of their baby boy.
Baby Harper has arrived.
Bryce Harper’s crew expanded by one when the Phillies star and his wife, Kayla, announced the birth of their son, Krew Aron.
The Harpers announced the baby’s arrival Monday in an Instagram post. Harper flew Wednesday night from Boston to Las Vegas to be with his wife as she gave birth to the couple’s first child. The baby was born on Thursday.
The Phillies placed Harper on the paternity list on Friday before they dropped two of three in Miami to the last-place Marlins. Harper flew home to Las Vegas after Wednesday night’s win in Boston and will join the Phillies on Monday when they open a three-game series at home against the Pirates.
The Harpers are both from Las Vegas and Kayla played college soccer at Ohio State and BYU. They were married in December of 2016. They announced in April, shortly after Harper’s first game with the Phillies, that they were expecting a baby boy.
