Beaned-up Bryce Harper is taking over TikTok with his coffees and breads — and raw milk?

The Phillies first basemen has been spending the last few days sharing his culinary creations on social media.

TikTok is nearing a potential shutdown in the United States on Jan. 19, so it’s a real shame that it saved its best content for the final weeks — Bryce Harper making coffee and baking.

Harper started his TikTok journey showing off his iced vanilla latte recipe. The biggest reveal of the video? Harper is a raw milk guy. A bit worried about that one. Aside from having no proven health benefits over pasteurized milk, raw milk can contain a number of disease-causing pathogens.

“Not in a million years would I have ever guessed that I’d open TikTok to a Bryce Harper latte video,” one user commented on TikTok.

“Same man. Same,” Harper responded.

If you, like me, were thinking — isn’t he Mormon? Is he even allowed to drink coffee? The answer is yes, sort of. Mormon doctrine advises against “hot drinks,” which prevents them from drinking hot coffee and tea. But it doesn’t technically include drinks like iced coffee or iced tea — even though it’s often interpreted that way by followers.

In his second video, Harper posted a video of baking banana bread, at his kid’s offscreen request. He showed off his new Christmas gift, a hand-mixer. The Phillies kindly requested in the comments that Harper bring his recipes to Clearwater for spring training — “*Clearwooder,” Harper responded, because of course he did.

In his third video, posted on Sunday ahead of the Eagles’ game, Harper wore some Birds gear and made another coffee recipe, a date caramel cold brew. He did not specify whether the milk he used was raw milk this time — perhaps because he got a call from the front office after last time?

Will he keep going for Day 4? While I support more food videos, he looks deeply tired in all of these. It’s the offseason, Bryce. Get some rest! As much as we love the creative coffee content, being fresh for 2025 is what’s most important.
