Chester County lieutenant promoted

Among the state police promotions announced this week are a new rank and job for a Cochranville resident.

State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan has promoted a 57-year-old Cochranville resident to captain.

Nicholas G. Saites has also been reassigned to director of the Risk Management Office; previously he supervised the eastern section of the Internal Affairs Division of the Bureau of Integrity and Professional Standards. A native of Philadelphia, Saites enlisted in the state police in 1980. His career has included service at the Plymouth Meeting, Media and Embreeville barracks.
