Family of Delco woman found dead offers reward for info

One Delaware County family is hoping the allure of a cash reward will help bring closure to their heartbreaking loss.

The family of Nadia Malik is now offering $25,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of her ex-boyfriend, Bhupinder Singh, who they believe is responsible for her death last year, Khaled Malik, Nadia's brother, told the Daily News today.

Despite being under heavy scrutiny since Malik's body was found last February inside a Nissan Altima parked near 30th Street Station, Singh hasn't been charged in her death.

"I still have hope of finding something out," Malik told the People Paper.

Law enforcement sources told the Daily News on the one-year anniversary of Malik's death that because the city Medical Examiner has been unable to determine the cause and manner of her death, they can't charge Singh.

As Khaled Malik mentions in a post on the "Justice for Nadia Malik" Facebook page that advertises the new reward, there is evidence hinting at Singh's involvement in her death: He was the last person with whom she was seen alive; he admitted to police to sending antagonizing text messages to Nadia's family that demanded money in exchange for information about her whereabouts; the car in which Nadia was found belonged to Singh's parents.

Tipsters are asked to call Khaled Malik at 610-931-8378 or his attorney at 484-576-0389.
