A 50-year-old man was hospitalized and undergoing surgery Tuesday night after cops say his brother stabbed him once in the neck and once under each arm inside a house in West Philly.
The man and his older brother, age 52, were involved in a scuffle shortly before 9 p.m. that led to the stabbing in the residence on Preston Street near Brown, cops said.
The stabbing victim was in stable condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The victim's brother was also treated for minor injuries he suffered in the scuffle at the hospital, and was being held as a prisoner there, authorities said.
