Police investigating shooting in Mantua
Police were investigating a shooting in Mantua that left a man hospitalized Tuesday night.
The 22-year-old victim was shot by an unknown suspect near 38th and Olive streets just after 9:30 p.m., police said. He was twice in the right leg – once in the upper leg and once in the calf. He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and listed in guarded condition.
Police said they were unsure what motivated the shooting, and that the investigation was ongoing late Tuesday night.
