The 34-year-old victim, whose name wasn't released pending notification of kin, was shot in the eye, armpit and chest just after 11:30 p.m. Sunday in a first-floor apartment on Montgomery Avenue near 31st Street, police spokeswoman Officer Tanya Little said. He was declared dead on the scene.
Police also released the identities of several other recent homicide victims: Kareem Washington, 24, of Natrona Street near Diamond in Strawberry Mansion, was found dead Thursday in an alley off M Street near Sedgley in Harrowgate. He had been shot multiple times.
Adrian Zamora, 24, of Darien Street near Indiana in North Philly, was found with a gunshot wound to the head in a GMC Yukon SUV near Harrowgate Plaza shopping center just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
And Jasper Long, 31, of Glenloch Street near Megargee in Upper Holmesburg, died at Albert Einstein Medical Center after he was found early Sunday with a gunshot wound to his side on a sidewalk on Penn Street near Arrott in Frankford.
