Two shot on Market-Frankford Line train
Police are investigating a shooting on a Market-Frankford Line train in West Philadelphia that left two men wounded Wednesday night.
Cops said gunfire erupted on the westbound train near 46th and Market streets shortly before 11 p.m.
Both victims -- one 36-year-old man shot once in the side and one 30-year-old man shot once in the thigh -- showed up at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and were listed in stable condition, Chief Inspector Scott Small said.
There were no arrests in the shooting early Thursday morning.
