Sandwich: Oh, Ricci, you're so fine
A "Hell's Kitchen" contestant builds a sandwich for Ippolito's.
Season 15 of Hell's Kitchen, which premiered Jan. 15, features a bunch of contestants from the Philadelphia area.
Among them is Joe Ricci, a sous chef at Ippolito's, the Italian Market seafood specialist.
He's created a sandwich dubbed "The Ricci," inspired by banh mi. It's seared tuna layered on top of cucumbers and then topped with a mung bean slaw, pickled carrots, wasabi aioli, and fresh cilantro, all inside a baguette.
It's on the menu at $12.99 with fries. Caviar will begin delivering it next week.
