Kimmel, H. Biden, partners to fete new VP at DC inaugural
Supporters of Vice President-elect Sen. Joseph Biden, longtime U.S. Senator from Delaware, will celebrate at a Jan. 18 Inaugural Breakfast at Washington's Oval Room. Sponsors include Biden's son Hunter, who's been a lawyer, lobbyist and hedge fund officer, and Hunter's wife Kathleen; Eric Schwerin, one of young Biden's former law partners; Hunter's childhood friend Wayne Kimmel, of West Conshohocken-based ETF Venture Funds (an investor in, among other things, Philadelphia Media, which owns the Inquirer and Philly.com) and his wife, Kimberly; and ETF partner Tony Bifano and his wife, Teuta. "It's just a private event for friends and family and a lot of people who've supported Joe along the way," said Bifano. They won, and it feels good.
