Bob Dylan playing the Mann in July with Mavis Staples, new album coming in May

'Fallen Angels' due May 20.

The latest leg of Bob Dylan's Neverending Tour will come to the Mann Center in Fairmount Park on July 13, with gospel great (and onetime Dylan paramour) Mavis Staples opening the show.

Dylan has recently been sighted recording in Los Angeles,,and his new abum Fallen Angels is due May 20. Over the weekend, the New York Times reported that Dylan is giving an archive of more than 6000 artifacts to the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma. Staples has just released Living On A High Note, a new album produced by M. Ward and featuring songs by Neko Case, Ben Harper and Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, among others, and is the subject of the documentary, Mavis!, now airing on HBO.
