Bruno Mars takes care of business at the Super Bowl

Coming to Camden in July.

Anybody who's seen Bruno Mars perform live before couldn't have been surprised by the way the pint sized Hawaiian pop-R & B-funk dervish tore it up on the Super Bowl halftime show in New Jersey on Sunday.

Pity that Fox and the NFL grew gun shy about the good choice they made in bringing in a contemporary hitmaker with classic showbiz chops and had to hedge their bets by forcing Mars to share his time with the shirtless Red Hot Chili Peppers.

But along with the Seahawks and Bob Dylan - who starred off camera in a funny Chobani yogurt ad and on camera in a scary Chrysler commercial ("Let the Germans make your beer," sayeth the Bard) - the night belonged to Mars. He's been selling out dates all year on his 'Moonshine Jungle Tour,' but mainstream America might not have had an appreciation of his ability to bang on the drums or make those James Brown dance moves until now.
