Rob McElhenney, the star of FX/FXX's "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," stopped by St. Joe's Prep, his alma mater, today to speak at the school's annual scholarship and donor reception. McElhenney (class of '95) established a scholarship fund at the St. Joe's Prep last spring, along with wife Kaitlin Olsen, who plays Sweet Dee on the long-running sitcom.

"Young men, you get very few truly great opportunities in this life," I hear McElhenney said in his speech. "Now you've earned one. The only question is, what will you do with it?"

"It's Always Sunny" is the longest running live-action cable comedy series, and the second-longest live-action comedy series in television history (tied with "Sanford and Sons").

The "It's Always Sunny" guys have been very pro-education as of late. McElhenney's co-star, Charlie Day gave a fabulous commencement speech at his alma mater, Merrimack College.
