2. Gun charge pardon: Gov. Christie pardons Philadelphia woman who had faced up to five years in prison for bringing into the state a gun that was legally registered in Pennsylvania but not in New Jersey.
3. Religious-freedom debate: Pennsylvania Democrats, including Gov. Wolf, have grabbed onto the controversy over religious freedom laws in other states to bolster their bid for a state ban on discrimination against gays.
