Live blog transcript: Navy shuts out Army, 34-0

Greetings from a chilly but sunny Lincoln Financial Field, where in just a few hours a football game will be played between teams representing the United States Military Academy and the United States Naval Academy.
It is, in my opinion, not only the best football rivalry I'll ever see in person but the best rivalry anywhere in the college game. I've watched this game many times on TV, but this is the first time I've ever actually been to it. As I begin writing this post, the Navy march-on is in progress and the field is filled with perfectly-arranged rectangles of black overcoats and white hats.
I'm really looking forward to everything about today, from the spectacle of the march-on to the football game to the singing of the alma maters afterwards. Navy is heavily favored, but this truly is one of those games where you never quite know what will happen until the ball is snapped.
So join me for live coverage throughout the morning and afternoon. I'll have updates on the game and the atmosphere, and as always I invite you to share your thoughts about whatever's on your mind in the world of college sports.
