5 things you need to know about the 76ers today

Five things you need to know about the 76ers today

1.  T. J. McConnell is undefeated.  The Sixers are 2-0 when McConnell is the starting point guard following Friday night's win. His first start was back on Dec. 11 when the Sixers beat Detroit 97-79.

2.  The Sixers showed that they are capable of scoring a lot of points. Friday's 124-point output was the most they scored in a game this season.

3. There are Sixers fans everyone.  Faint chants of 'Trust The Process' could be heard following Friday's 124-122 victory in Denver over the Nuggets.

4.  Robert Covington sure knows how to break out of a slump in dramatic fashion. The small forward finished with 19 points, six rebounds, one steal and one block on Friday.

5.  This team's foreign flavor can never be overlooked. The Sixers started three foreign players Friday night in Joel Embiid, Ersan Ilyasov, and Nik Stauskas.  Their sixth man – Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot –  for that night's game is also a foreign player.
