Stauskas to miss remainder of road trip

BOSTON – Nik Stauskas will not play Wednesday night against the Boston Celtics due to a contusion on the outside of his left knee.

The 76ers shooting guard will also miss Friday game at Friday's game at the Houston Rockets and Sunday's game at the Memphis Grizzlies. Coach Brett Brown said Stauskas will likely be out for a week.

He suffered the injury in the first half of Monday's 100-95 setback against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center. MRIs Tuesday were negative for any additional injury.

Stauskas (two points) left the game with 6 minutes, 19 seconds left in the half because of pain. He felt a bruise from getting kneed in his knee.
