MAC to release 'Simpsons' inspired makeup collection

In delightfully bizarre style news, MAC Cosmetics has an upcoming 'The Simpsons' themed makeup collection.

First reported in early May, the fall collection which will make its way online August 28 and hits shelves September 4, was recently revealed in its entirety. Lucky Comic-Con attendees get first dibs on the electric blue, Marge-beehive-hairstyle inspired eye shadow and yellow mystery tube (Simpsons hued concealer?) at a one-day sale during the event on Saturday, July 6 in San Diego.

In a press release, Marge gushed about her favorite products from the 10-piece collection that includes nail stickers, an eye shadow palette, lip-gloss and lashes. "They're all so great," says Marge, "but I must say that Lisa's Spikes really works with my skin tone and of course, Beehive Blue complements my hair perfectly."

Looks like the trend this fall will be Simpsons chic.
