One-tenth of the Wayans siblings has weighed in on the sexual assault allegations against comedian Bill Cosby, with Damon Wayans describing the more than 50 accusers' actions as a "money hustle."
Wayans appeared on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club today, discussing the Cosby allegations alongside topics that included his family life and career trajectory. The Cosby topic came up quickly, with hosts asking Wayans what advice he'd like to give to the formerly beloved TV star.
"Tell the truth," Wayans responded. "If I was him, I would divorce my wife, give her all my money, and then I would go do a deposition. I would light one of them three-hour cigars. I'd have some wine and maybe a quaalude, and I would just go off, because I don't believe that he was raping."
Wayans also questioned the accusers' relationships with Cosby, insinuating that the sexual assault allegations stem from Cosby's inability to "get it up for any of y'all."
"I believe he was in relationships with all of them and then he's like, 'You know what? At 78, it don't work like that no more. I can't get it up for any of y'all. Bye, b----es.' And then they're like, 'Oh, really? Rape.' "
Additionally, the My Wife and Kids star said that some of the alleged victims are "unrapeable" and, alternately, are feigning amnesia.
"How big is his penis that it gives you amnesia for 40 years?," Wayans asked. "If you listen to them talk, they go, 'Well, the first time…' The first time? B----, how many times did it happen? Just listen to what they're saying and some of them really are unrapeable. You just look at them and go, 'You don't want that. Get outta here.' "
To end his thoughts on the matter, Wayans dug into Cosby's past criticisms of black culture, claiming that ultimately his actions there led to a lack of support from the black community.
"He started criticizing young black men and then he lost us, and so we're not supporting him and they see that opening," Wayans said. "So now, you know what? 'Attack him! Kill him!' But the dude from 7th Heaven, his show's still on TV. Woody Allen's making shows and movies. I just don't believe this. It's a money hustle."
Cosby has never been charged with a crime in connection with the sexual assault allegations against him. He is currently scheduled to give a deposition in connection with accuser Judy Huth's allegations next month.
