Fishtown is Philly's Bushwick, because hipsters (also, Gawker says so)

Since New York is the center of the universe around which all planets and beings revolve in a futile attempt to draw from the source of the power of all existence, Gawker polled its readers to tell you, the person who probably has a too-polarized opinion on the HBO series Girls, which neighborhoods in your city are equivalent to Brooklyn. You know, just in case you were looking to go out on the town for a night of warehouse rave-hopping and throwing non-biodegradable Styrofoam containers at hipsters.

Obviously, the results of the self-important, media-obsessed omniscient population polled by Gawker indicate that Fishtown is Philly's Bushwick and Northern Liberties is Philly's Williamsburg. Thankfully, Gawker was able to let us know which spots most closely resemble New York's insufferable neighborhoods because, without their convenient list, the litany of artist's lofts off Frankford Ave. and ironic synth-rock quartets playing at Johnny Brenda's wouldn't have alerted us to the natural habitat of the Philly hipster.

What is your city's Williamsburg? What's its hippest—or formerly hippest—or sometimes just youngest—neighborhood, the one with the art galleries and the boutiques and the lines for brunch?
