Jon Stewart slams ‘total narc’ Chris Christie over pot stance on ‘Daily Show’

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie's approval ratings hit an all-time low this week, and Jon Stewart illustrated a possible reason why on Monday night's Daily Show — after all, the guy is a bit of a "narc."
Stewart's jab at Christie came during a "super kush" segment aired for the 4/20 holiday that Stewart hoped would leave viewers "totally chillaxed." However, with Christie added into the mix, everything went sour.
"There's always one guy who's got to be a total narc," Stewart said.
Briefly sporting a wig that transformed him into "a rainbow-haired Larry Fine from the Three Stooges," Stewart took Christie to task for his continued tough-talking, anti-marijuana stance while simultaneously endorsing legal online gambling in Jersey.
Though, at the same time, Christie seems to be of the mind-set that his administration will not "raise revenue from anything addictive, or that federal law disapproves of" — except, you know, gambling.
"Let the man be ideologically consistent," Stewart said of Christie. "Or at least appear that way."
Christie, for his part, has previously said that he would "crack down and not permit" legal marijuana should he ever be elected president. But online gambling, meanwhile, would enthusiastically be allowed to serve as a new revenue stream for the state.
"There is a difference, to be fair," Stewart said. "You smoke too much pot, no one comes to break your f------ kidneys."
