When a Reddit user _thats_not_me_ surfaced a photo of Taylor Swift showing her bellybutton, it might as well have been the first time that part of her anatomy ever graced the Internet.

For a while, Taylor fans speculated the pop star might not have a navel at all since, you know, she never showed it. Why else wouldn't she wear a short crop top with low-rise bottoms!? However, since then, Taylor has flashed her lower stomach more than once, with a notable reveal being when she shared a photo of herself and Haim in bikinis during a Hawaii vacation.

Still, there must be something about this facetiously staged bellybutton reveal photo that set Swifties ablaze, and so, naturally, some serious Reddit Photoshop parodies ensued.

Swift said in an interview with Lucky magazine that she likes to keep her belly button hidden, not because she's an alien, but because "When you start showing your belly button, you're really committing to the midriff thing. I only partially commit to the midriff thing."
