K-Tron International Inc., Pitman, named Robert E. Wisniewski senior vice president, chief financial officer, and treasurer effective May 30. Wisniewski is currently vice president for finance for K-Tron America Inc. and CFO of K-Tron Process Group, one of the company's two lines of business.

Continental Bank, Plymouth Meeting, hired Daniel M. Sossaman as vice president for government guaranteed lending. Sossaman had been vice president and Small Business Administration corporate manager at Sovereign Bank.

David Allebach was promoted to vice president from associate at Cobblestone Advisors in Philadelphia. Cobblestone is part of Harris Williams L.L.C., a merger-and-acquisition advisory firm owned by PNC Financial Services Group.

Lynn T. Newsome was named compliance director of the Office of Housing and Community Development, City of Philadelphia. She had been executive assistant to the deputy secretary of health promotion and disease prevention for the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

The National Constitution Center, Philadelphia, appointed Debra Gross director of development operations. Gross had been director of development for the Wellness Community of Philadelphia.

Atwater Kent Museum of Philadelphia announced two appointments. Jennifer Fuges was named director of development. She had been executive director of annual giving and alumni relations at St. Joseph's University.

Kate Bieg was named director of marketing and public relations. She had been director of marketing for Govberg Jewelers and its subsidiaries, including Fine Life Media (iW, International Watch and Stylus magazines).

Catholic Health East, a Newtown Square health system, announced two appointments. Anna Marie Butrie was named vice president for strategy management and operations improvement. Butrie has been vice president of operations improvement.

Scott Ash was named vice president of business development. Ash had been a partner in TRG Healthcare L.L.C., a consulting firm with offices in Philadelphia and Southfield, Mich.

Cowan, Gunteski & Co., a Toms River, N.J., certified public accounting and consulting firm, named Michael S. Lewis, of Mount Laurel, a director of the firm. Lewis had been an executive director of a 27-provider primary-care group with offices in Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties and the administrative director for the Department of Surgery for Cooper Health System.

The Philadelphia office of Protiviti Inc., a business consulting and internal audit firm, said Gretchen Gray had been promoted from associate director to director.

Glenn Beamer was named director of the master of public health program and associate professor of public health at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Beamer most recently had been director of the Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center at the University of Maine.
