has been elected president of the

Pennsylvania Association for Justice

(formerly the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association), the largest trial lawyer association in the state. He is a senior partner of Eisenberg, Rothweiler, Winkler, Eisenberg, & Jeck P.C.

The Insurance Accounting & Systems Association Inc., a nonprofit professional organization, elected Ruth Estrich president for the 2011-2012 fiscal year. She is chief strategy officer at MedRisk Inc., King of Prussia.

Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation, Pomona, N.J., named Alyce Parker and former U.S. Rep. Patrick J. Kennedy to its board of governors. Parker is the former vice president of public affairs for Harrah's Entertainment. Kennedy, originally of Rhode Island, was elected to Congress in 1995 and served 16 years in the House and is the cofounder of One Mind for Research.

Saladax Biomedical Inc., a Bethlehem developer of medical-diagnostic products, elected Gregory C. Critchfield chairman of its board. Critchfield previously was president of Myriad Genetic Laboratories Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Myriad Genetics Inc.

Daniel J. Martin was named president of the executive committee of the New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies Inc., a nonprofit advocacy organization. He is CEO of Archway Programs, Atco. Martin also was appointed by Gov. Christie to serve on the state's Youth Suicide Prevention Advisory Council.

The Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia elected Eric Rothschild to serve as chair. Rothschild is a partner at Pepper Hamilton L.L.P. and a member of the firm's Health Effects Litigation and Commercial Litigation practice groups. Brian T. Feeney was named vice chair. Feeney is a shareholder in the Litigation Department of Greenberg Traurig's Philadelphia office.

The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, an Oak Brook, Ill., professional association, named Gregory G. Ginsberg president. He is professor of medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where he is a member of the Gastroenterology Division and executive director of Endoscopic Services.

Thomas J. Profy IV was named chair of the Bucks County Bar Association's Orphans Court/Estate Planning Committee. The committee is a forum for discussing estate planning and probate law practices and developments. He is a partner at Begley, Carlin & Mandio L.L.P., Langhorne.

The Home Care Association of New Jersey, an Iselin nonprofit professional organization, elected Kathleen A. Miller as treasurer. She is vice president of finance/chief financial officer for Moorestown Visiting Nurse Association, Moorestown.

Glen R. Bressner, managing partner of Originate Ventures, a venture capital firm in Bethlehem, was appointed to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children's board of governors.

Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center, a private, nonprofit economic development organization that assists small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises in the region, named Lisa McLemore and Nick Hackett to its board. McLemore is partner-in-charge of the Tax Services Group at Fesnak & Associates L.L.P. Hackett is president and CEO of New Way Air Bearings.

The Presbyterian Children's Village, a Rosemont nonprofit, elected the following officers and members to its board:

Elizabeth S. Gadsden, a former social worker and supervisor of adolescent services with the Bucks County Children and Youth Social Services Agency, is chair.

Thomas O. Hiscott, an attorney and partner with the firm Heckscher, Teillon, Terrill & Sager P.C. in West Conshohocken, is vice chair.

Joan Mount, a senior drug safety associate from Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Co. in Philadelphia, is secretary.

R. Scott Latimer, a principal with PricewaterhouseCoopers L.L.P., Philadelphia, is treasurer.

Maris Ogg, president and one of three founders of Tower Bridge Advisors, West Conshohocken, is assistant treasurer.

The following new members were named to the board:

John Sundquist recently retired from Lockheed Martin, King of Prussia, as vice president of program management.

Richard Emrich is vice president for human resources at Broder Brothers, Trevose.

Donna Henry is the executive director of the Southwest Community Development Corp., Southwest Philadelphia.

Deborah Ware has been a tutor at Project Home and volunteered at the Agnes Irwin School and the Haverford School and various nonprofit organizations in the Philadelphia area.

The Support Center for Child Advocates, a Philadelphia pro bono legal organization that represents children who are abused, neglected, or abandoned, elected Katayun Jaffari president. She is member of the Business and Finance Department, chair of the Corporate Governance Practice Group, and co-chair of the Securities Transactions and Regulations Practice Group at Saul Ewing L.L.P.

The following new members were named to the board:

Joseph L. DeSimone is a partner in the Assurance Services group at Marcum L.L.P.

Kathleen T. Egan is senior vice president and assistant general counsel with Wachovia Corp. and is a member of the General Bank Specialty Finance Group.

Rosemarie Hoslyn is corporate counsel at De Lage Landen Financial Services.

Janie S. Mershon is a lawyer whose previous experience includes work as a licensed psychologist for children and families.

Jane Robinson is the first vice president - wealth adviser, at UBS Financial Services Inc.

Ilene Wasserman is founder and principal of ICW Consulting.

David Silverman is an attorney at Curley, Hessinger & Johnsrud L.L.P.

Cheri H. Freeh was elected president of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Freeh is a principal with Hutchinson, Gillahan and Freeh P.C., Quakertown.
