Susquehanna Bank, Camden, hired Dan Decker as commercial relationship manager in the Central Jersey Region. He had been vice president of commercial lending for Liberty Bell Bank.

Marc Hirsch has been hired as vice president, market manager for the Wayne, Bryn Mawr, and Ardmore sections of the suburbs. He had been a senior business consultant at Wells Fargo Bank N.A.

Patricia Roos has been hired as vice president, market manager in the Delaware Valley region. Roos had been a regional bank private banker for Wells Fargo.

Conestoga Bank, Philadelphia, hired Thomas Dowling as vice president of Small Business Administration (SBA) Lending in its SBA Lending Group. Dowling had been vice president of SBA Lending at East River Bank in Philadelphia.

Guy Carpenter & Co. L.L.C., a Philadelphia global risk and reinsurance specialist and a member of Marsh & McLennan Cos., hired Jim Chambers as senior vice president. He had been vice president of reinsurance at Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Co.

Clarion/Samuels Associates, Wayne, hired Jerrold McCarron as a land-development specialist. McCarron was managing partner of Herskowitz, Glasgow & McCarron.

Monetate, a Philadelphia Web retail-analytics firm, hired John Healy as chief operating officer and David Stetson as chief financial officer. Healy had been the group CEO of GSI Marketing Services; Stetson had been chief financial officer of Dealer.com.

Xyntek Inc., a Yardley technology company, hired Matt Thompson as vice president of sales. He had been a senior sales engineer at Videojet Technologies.

Boyden, an executive-search firm with more than 65 offices in more than 40 countries, said the firm of Gardner-Kaplan had merged into Boyden; Andrew Gardner has been named managing director in its Philadelphia office.

Ametek Inc., a Berwyn maker of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices, promoted Tom Marecic to senior vice president and general manager of the Electronic Instruments Group, from vice president and general manager of the Process & Analytical Instruments Division. Ron Oscher has been named senior vice president and general manager of the Electronic Instruments Group. He had been vice president and general manager of the Materials Analysis Division.

Comcast Corp., Philadelphia, hired Shawn Leavitt as senior vice president of global benefits for Comcast and NBCUniversal. He had been vice president of global compensation and benefits at Carlson.

   Dilworth Paxson L.L.P., Philadelphia, elected Meghan Bennett Clark and Fenita Moore partners.

Philadelphia Housing Authority has hired David A. Northern Sr. as executive vice president, housing operations. Northern is the former executive director/chief executive officer of the Lake County Housing Authority, which serves Chicago's northern suburbs.

Magrann has been hired as executive vice president/publisher of JTE Multimedia, a Berwyn publisher of journals Postgraduate Medicine, Hospital Practice, the Physician and Sportsmedicine, and Collier's magazine. He had been vice president/product director at Informa Healthcare Communications.

AthenianRazak, a Philadelphia real estate services company, hired Christopher Strom as director of project development. He had been director of project development, mission critical, at Skanska.

Wescott Financial Advisory Group L.L.C., a Philadelphia wealth-management firm, named Karen B. McIntyre managing director and senior financial adviser. She had been a wealth adviser at United Capital of Philadelphia.

Wisler Pearlstine, Blue Bell, hired zoning and land-use lawyer Edward F. Murphy as a partner. The merger of Murphy's practice enables the firm to open an office in Newtown.

Villanova University promoted Debra F. Fickler to vice president and general counsel, from deputy general counsel. Fickler succeeds Dorothy A. Malloy, Villanova's first general counsel, who held the position for more than 24 years and will now serve in the role of counsel for the university.

Franklin Institute, Philadelphia, has promoted Larry Dubinski to the newly created position of chief operating officer, from executive vice president.
