Nucci to head Philly Startup Leaders

Rick Nucci, a venture partner at FirstMark Capital and founder of Berwyn-based Boomi, now a unit of Dell, will become the next president of Philly Startup Leaders effective Dec. 1.

He will succeed Artisan Mobile CEO Bob Moul, who has led the support group of 1,000 members for tech-focused entrepreneurs the last two years. Moul will become the organization's chairman.

Boomi was the industry's first cloud integration platform-as-a-service company and was acquired by Dell in 2010. Nucci says he plans to launch his next start-up in Philadelphia within the next few months.
