Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Philadelphia, hired Nancy G. Hesse as senior vice president of patient-care services. She had been chief nursing officer at Abington Health Lansdale Hospital.

AmeriHealth Caritas VIP Plans, a national Medicare Advantage managed-care organization, has hired Karen J. Nichols as chief medical officer. She held the same post at the Living Independently for Elders program at the University of Pennsylvania.

Revitas, a Philadelphia-based software company that works with works with life sciences, technology and manufacturing, companies, hired Ram ChandraSekar as senior vice president of products and technology. He had been vice president of product management and applications development for Oracle. Michael Kerman was promoted to vice president of business management, from director of industry development.

Associa, a Plymouth Meeting provider of community-management services, hired Nancy Hastings as CEO and president of the Mid-Atlantic Management Corp. She had been CEO of Associa sister-branch MAMCO Property Management in Mount Laurel.

TD Bank has hired Michael C. Venable senior vice president, as head of underwriting for retail bank operations in Mount Laurel. He had served as a regional fulfillment executive at Bank of America in Philadelphia.

Encoda L.L.C., a Plymouth Meeting software-development company that develops and implements a suite of automation technologies for medical practices and revenue-cycle-management outsourcing firms, hired Michael Kallish as chief executive officer. He had been senior vice president of business development for RemitDATA Inc., a venture-funded, health-care IT company. Company co-founder and former CEO William Cox will assume the role of president and chief technology officer.

Blank Rome L.L.P., Philadelphia, hired Hans T. Haglund as chief business development and marketing officer out of its Washington office. He held the same role with Patton Boggs L.L.P.

The American Diabetes Association named Ann Meredith executive director for the Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey area. She served as president of her own nonprofit consulting firm and was chief executive officer of Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania.

Edie Fraser has been appointed a vice chair of Diversified Search, a Philadelphia executive-search firm. She was founder and chief executive officer of Diversity Best Practices.

Pennoni Associates, a Philadelphia engineering, design and consulting firm, hired Michael Cromer as a senior geologist in the firm's West Chester office. He had been senior vice president of Dynamic Energy in Wayne. The firm also hired Brian Diehl to be senior engineer in the Philadelphia office's land-development division. He previously worked as a project engineer for the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority.

Macron Dynamics Inc., a Croydon manufacturer of linear robotic motion systems and belt-driven linear actuators, hired Michael Giunta as the company's national sales manager. He had been regional sales manager at Exlar Corp. and Stober Drives Inc.

Echo Therapeutics Inc., a Philadelphia medical technology firm working on a wireless glucose-monitoring system, hired Thomas Bishops as vice president of product development. He had been senior director of control systems at iWalk Inc.

Michael Brody, vice president of service operations of the Mental Health Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania, has been named its chief executive officer.

Pet360 Inc., a Philadelphia network of digital resources for pet parents, hired Jon Roska as vice president of strategic partner development. Roska founded the company's longest-standing Web property - PetFoodDirect.com - in 1997 and most recently served as Pet360's vice president of merchandising.

The North Philadelphia Financial Partnership, which serves as the community-lending arm of the North Central Philadelphia Empowerment Zone, hired Reco Owens as director of lending. Owens was a principal with Rowe Consulting.

Com-Pak Services, a Moorestown direct-marketing provider, hired Clif McDougall as vice president of marketing and business development. Prior to joining Com-Pak Services, McDougall held strategic roles with Staples, Transcontinental Direct and InteliMail.

Penn National Gaming Inc., Wyomissing, promoted Carl Sottosanti to senior vice president and general counsel, from deputy general counsel and vice president of legal and business affairs.

Montgomery McCracken, Philadelphia, hired Jonathan H. Hollinger and Priya Roy as associates in the firm's business and litigation departments. Hollinger was an associate in the business and finance department of Morgan Lewis & Bockius L.L.P. Roy was a judicial clerk for U.S. District Judge Michael F. Urbanski.
