Claire Day has been promoted to senior vice president of the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter, from vice president, constituent services.

Physicians Endoscopy L.L.C., a Jamison development and management partner for single-specialty endoscopic ambulatory surgery centers, has hired Rodger Baca as chief development officer. He was vice president of acquisitions and development at Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America.

American Water Works Co. Inc., a Voorhees water and wastewater utility company, has named Loyd Warnock senior vice president of external affairs, communications and public policy. He was senior vice president of external affairs at Midwest Independent System Operator Inc.

Maetrics, an Indianapolis consulting firm for top-tier medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, and nutritional companies, has hired Edward A. Tomlinson as managing director of the company's mid-Atlantic region in Philadelphia.

ACE Group, Philadelphia, has appointed John Alfieri as division president, ACE USA Regional Operations. He will retain his title and responsibilities as division president of Global Accounts, North America.

Pine Hill Group, a finance and accounting consultancy and M&A advisory firm based in Philadelphia, has added six new employees to its team, each supporting the accounting and financial reporting, IPO and SEC practices. They are:

Health Partners Plans, a nonprofit Philadelphia managed-care health organization, has promoted Lovell Harmon to senior vice president of business development, from vice president of product development and sales. Also, Randy Mintz-Presant, former vice president of corporate communications and public affairs, has been named vice president of communications and marketing, chief communications officer.

Capehart Scatchard, Mount Laurel, announced that it has created a health care and dental law department and named shareholder Nikitas Moustakas to head the practice. The team is comprised of shareholders Christopher Hoare, Ralph Smith and Yasmeen Khaleel and associate Douglas Nelson.

Pennoni Associates, a Philadelphia engineering, design and consulting firm, has hired Stephanie Fedoroff as director of human resources. She had been director of employee benefits and retirement at the School District of Philadelphia.

Bartash Inc., a Philadelphia manufacturer of magazines, newspapers and niche publications based in Philadelphia, has hired Jack Ricciuti as vice president, manufacturing. He was executive vice president, chief operating officer, at Evergreen Printing.

Oxford Communications, Lambertville, hired Tim McAuliffe as a media strategist. He had been managing director for at Paradigm Visions Inc.

Arcadia University has named Alla L. Wilson dean of its School of Global Business. Wilson was founding dean of the College of Business and Management at East Stroudsburg University.

Graciela Slesaransky-Poe, associate professor of education and Frank and Evelyn Steinbrucker '42 endowed chair at Arcadia, has been appointed founding dean of the university's School of Education.

Burns White has appointed firm member Stuart T. O'Neal III as its first chief privacy officer to lead a new policy development team. O'Neal focuses his practice on the defense of medical facilities, long-term-care companies and professionals in general and professional liability claims.

Railroad project-management expert Steven Falkenstein has joined HNTB Corp. as associate vice president, senior director-rail, in its King of Prussia office. He had been deputy chief engineer-maintenance at Amtrak.

CBRE Group Inc., Philadelphia, has hired Tom Gorman as senior vice president of capital markets retail in its Philadelphia Brokerage Services group. He had been an investment-sales specialist at Marcus & Millichap.

Spencer Yablon has been hired as senior vice president in the Philadelphia Brokerage Services multi-family group based in Wayne. He was a salesman and branch manager within the Philadelphia office of Marcus & Millichap.

Hirtle Callaghan, Philadelphia, hired Keri Lorenson as deputy chief operating officer and managing director of finance. She was chief operating officer/shareholder at Smith Mack & Co., where she served as a member of the company's executive committee.

Gregory FCA, an Ardmore public-relations firm, promoted Joseph Anthony to the newly created role of president, financial services, and partner in the firm. He was senior vice president.

John Summers has been appointed co-chair, alongside current chair Dan Segal, of the litigation department at Hangley Aronchick Segal Pudlin & Schiller, Philadelphia. Summers is a complex-commercial litigator.
