On the Boards

Main Line Health, Bryn Mawr, has elected the following members to its board of governors: Reneé Amoore, founder and president of Amoore Group Inc.; David Berkowitz, a vice president at ECRI Institute; Albert Rohr, chief of allergy and immunology at Main Line Health and in private practice with Rohr & and Columbo Asthma, Allergy and Immunology Specialists in Bryn Mawr; and Jay Siegfried, chief of the division of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Main Line Health and Lankenau Medical Center.

Vincent Deon has been elected president of the Aldie Foundation. Aldie is the largest outpatient substance-abuse treatment facility in Bucks County.

Timothy Farrow, co-founding partner of Moorestown-based law firm Dash Farrow L.L.P., has been named board chair of the Rutgers University Alumni Association.

Cresa, a Boston-based national corporate real estate advisory firm that exclusively represents tenants, has named Matt Feeney chairman. He continues to serve as managing principal at Cresa Philadelphia and was formerly vice chairman of the board.

Delaware Valley Association for the Education of Young Children, an educators group, has elected the following members to its board: Mary Grace Gorman, recreation leader, City of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation; Cathy Kaufman, library media specialist, K-5, Lower Merion School District; Eileen Kupersmith, early-childhood education consultant; Kathleen McCladdie, principal, Parkway West High School, School District of Philadelphia; Adrienne McKinney, president/director, Tuny Haven International Early Learning Center Inc.; Jill Michal, vice president, sales, services and client experience at Independence Blue Cross; Anna Russo, director, support specialist at Hildebrandt Learning Centers; and Kathy Trainor, professor and director of inclusive and early-childhood fieldwork at Arcadia University.

The National Association of Workforce Development Professionals has elected Paul Pappasergi to its board. He is senior operations manager at Henkels & McCoy Inc. Training Services Group.

The Philadelphia Orchestra Association has elected the following area business and community leaders to its board of directors: Joshua Gross, president of Mill Creek Capital Advisors L.L.C.; Lauren Hart, performing and recording artist; Thomas Herr, a principal at KPMG; and Ajay Raju, Dilworth Paxson executive chairman and CEO.

Delaware County Community Foundation, a Media nonprofit that supports charitable giving in the county through grant making, charitable vehicles, fund management, and community resources, has elected Marcine Pickron-Davis and Robert B. Simpson to its board. Pickron-Davis is chief of community engagement and diversity officer at Widener University. Simpson is the founder and managing partner of Brinker Simpson L.L.C.

Steven R. Carson, vice president for clinical integration for Temple Health and chief of operations for the Temple Institute for Population Health, has been named to a two-year term on Pennsylvania's Patient-Centered Medical Home Advisory Council. The council provides recommendations to the state Department of Human Services on Patient-Centered Medical Homes, a healthcare model that forges close partnerships between patients and their physicians.

Malvern Bancorp Inc., Paoli, parent company of Malvern Federal Savings Bank, has elected Howard Kent to its board. He is a principal and cofounder of Real Estate Equities Group L.L.C. and its affiliated entities in Englewood.

Woodlynde School, a nonprofit independent school on the Main Line for students in grades K-12 with learning differences, has appointed to its board Dana DeBenedictis-Spino, manager of media services for Upper Darby School District, and John Mullany, a 2007 graduate of the school and owner/operator of Ripples in the Pond Productions.
