Hayati Yarkadas, former senior vice president and general manager, Europe, for Tate & Lyle, has been named senior vice president and business president, performance materials.

Egalet Corp., a Wayne-based specialty pharmaceutical company, has hired Paul C. Varki as senior vice president and general counsel. He had been assistant general counsel at GlaxoSmithKline.

The Blue Bell cloud communications software and services provider CoreDial L.L.C. has hired Caitlin Clark-Zigmond as vice president of product management for unified communications as a service. She had been senior director of product management at Comcast Business.

Devine + Partners, an independent public-relations firm in Center City, has hired Rachael Specter as a senior account executive. She had been a senior account executive at Edelman PR in New York and Washington.

The Philadelphia-based technology and security firm Engine Room has named Jim Bazis director of technology. He had been an architect at PointRoll, a King of Prussia-based rich-media technology firm.

The Wayne-based management-consulting firm Navigate said principal Kip Wetzel and senior manager Christopher Jacobs have joined the firm. Wetzel had been vice president, enterprise social-media strategy, at Capital One Financial Corp. Jacobs had been a director at Grant Thornton L.L.C.

Liberty Bell Bank, Evesham, has hired Greg Wood as branch manager and assistant vice president of its corporate headquarters office. He had been a branch manager with TD Bank.

AC Lordi, a Malvern provider of accounting and risk-management consulting and executive search, has hired Bill Dawson as risk principal. He had been vice president of corporate income tax at Charming Shoppes from 2002-14 (it was acquired by Ascena Retail Group in 2012).

The Judge Group, a Philadelphia professional-services firm , has promoted Brian Goddard to director of its St. Louis office, from senior account executive.

Lombard International, a $75 billion-asset global life insurance and annuity administration firm specializing in tax-sheltered financial arrangements, has hired John Tyers as executive vice president, head of institutional sales, and Virginia Klein as senior managing director, product development and investment solutions, in its Philadelphia office. Tyers had been southeastern regional head of the Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch. Klein had been director of origination and product management for hedge funds in the Alternative Investment Group at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in New York.

Avison Young, a Toronto-based commercial real estate services firm, has hired Ryan FitzPatrick as a team associate. He had been an associate attorney at Lavin, O'Neil, Cedrone & DiSipio, in Philadelphia.

WSFS Financial Corp., Wilmington, parent company of WSFS Bank, hired Kevin L. Thompson as chief financial officer. He had been senior vice president in corporate finance at Zions Bancorp. and before that was chief financial officer and treasurer of American Express Centurion Bank.

TD Bank has promoted Matthew S. Brown to store manager of a branch in Harleysville, from assistant store manager.
