Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School, Gwynedd Valley, a college preparatory high school with 400 young women attending, has elected Kathleen Haley Hunsicker, vice chair of the board of supervisors of Lower Gwynedd Township, and Sister Margaret Ann Dougherty, coordinator, graduate programs in education at Alvernia University, to its board.
Grace M. Deon has been installed as president of the Bucks County Bar Association. Deon is a shareholder at Eastburn & Gray, Doylestown, and is a member of its management committee.
Emily Lustig Orel has been appointed to the Moorestown Friends School Committee. She worked in marketing and public relations for the 92d Street Y in Manhattan.
Samantha Kats has been appointed to the board of Children's Village, a nonprofit that provides early childhood education and school-age academic enrichment. Kats is an associate at Stradley Ronon, Philadelphia.
Susan C. Stein, CEO and founder of Connexion Healthcare, a Newtown provider of medical and scientific communications, has been appointed to the board of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Foundation. The NCCN Foundation, funded by donations, advances the mission of the NCCN by contributing to programs to give people affected by cancer the same information used by doctors, enabling them to better understand the disease and make more informed decisions.
Tyler Arboretum, Media, appointed the following trustees to its board: Eric Chapman, managing director with Accenture; Don Helwig, CFO and treasurer of George S. Coyne Chemical Co.; David Henderson, a real estate and investment analyst; Heather Saunders, a hospitality and consulting executive; and Katy Thorbahn, partner and managing director of Shiny, a marketing agency in Wilmington.
Montgomery County treasurer Jason Salus has been appointed to serve on the President's Council for Gwynedd Mercy University, Gwynedd Valley.
Steven D. Earhart, a managing partner at Devon Financial Partners L.L.C., has been reelected to serve a second term on the Alumni Advisory Board of the American College.
