Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania has named Mindy M. Posoff to its board. Posoff is managing director of Golden Seeds, an early-stage investment network whose focus is on female leaders, and is the founding partner of Traversent Capital Partners. Former board chair Anthony Santomero was elected board member emeritus.

ControlRad Systems, a Philadelphia medical-device company based in the Philadelphia area with engineering-development facilities in Kfar Saba, Israel, has named Paul J. Mirabella to its board. He is an independent director and owner in private businesses in the health-care industry. He had been chairman and CEO of Naviscan Inc. and president and CEO of GE Healthcare's Global Diagnostic Imaging business.

PHLDiversity, a business-development division of the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, has named the following members to its advisory board: Yvonne Drayton, president/executive project director, Drayton Cross Consulting; Sue Geyer, associate executive director, Greater Philadelphia Hotel Association; Alexis Lundeen, managing partner, Capital Grille; Jenea Robinson, senior media-relations manager, Visit Philadelphia; Ivan Turnipseed, associate professor and chair, hospitality and recreation management, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania; and Nicole Allen White, director of government relations and external affairs, Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Philadelphia Opportunities Industrialization Center Inc., a nonprofit that works to eliminate poverty, unemployment, and illiteracy, has elected the following board members: M. Brian Blake, executive vice president for academic affairs and provost at Drexel University; Sherman W. Smith 3d, counsel in the Philadelphia office of Buchanan, Ingersoll & Rooney; and Sheona Mackenzie, an educational psychologist.
