The Boardroom: Legacy of Love Foundation names new president

Carol A. Hill has been elected board president of the Legacy of Love Foundation, a nonprofit established in 1993 as the philanthropic arm of the Philadelphia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma. She is an associate director of development for the College of Engineering at the University of Delaware.

, a nonprofit established in 1993 as the philanthropic arm of the Philadelphia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma. She is an associate director of development for the College of Engineering at the University of Delaware.

Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel L.L.P. partner David A. Nasatir was appointed by the Montgomery County Commissioners to the Delaware Valley Regional Finance Authority. The authority was created by Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties in 1985 to provide loans to local governments in Pennsylvania. Nasatir chairs Obermayer's business & finance department.

The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education has named Timothy J. Szuhaj, a partner at Becker L.L.C. and chair of the business services and intellectual property and technology groups, president of the board of trustees. It also elected William P. Becker, founder and consulting principal at the Center City-based architecture firm Becker & Frondorf, and Jane Maloney, director of annual giving at Arcadia University, to its board.

MNG Direct, a Bensalem company recently acquired by Insignia Capital Group, has named Chris Wiltshire chairman. He had been president of the company.

Christine Nast, Rosemary Smith, Dottie Schindlinger, and Dolores M. Szymanski have been appointed to the board of the Alice Paul Institute, a Mount Laurel nonprofit dedicated to teaching girls about leadership and equality and educating the public about New Jersey suffragist Alice Stokes Paul. Nast is co-owner and president of Focalpoint Business Coaching & Training, Cherry Hill. Smith is director of Durand Inc., Mount Laurel. Schindlinger is executive vice president and governance technology evangelist for BoardEffect, and Szymanski, a retired superintendent of schools, is interim director of curriculum and instruction for Cinnaminson Township Schools.

The Philadelphia Estate Planning Council, a professional association, elected the following officers and members to its board for the 2015-16 year: Douglas Simon, director at Deutsche Bank Asset & Wealth Management, Philadelphia, president; Huldah A. Robertson, vice president at Glenmede Trust Co., Philadelphia, vice president; Richard M. Schwartz, an attorney at Pepper Hamilton L.L.P., Philadelphia, treasurer; and J.R. Burke, founding principal of Perspective Financial Group, Berwyn, secretary.
