The Boardroom: Walnut Street Theatre names two members

Walnut Street Theatre, Philadelphia, has elected Jack R. Garfinkle and David Montgomery to its board. Garfinkle is the acting associate general counsel-regulatory of Exelon Corp. Montgomery is chairman of the Philadelphia Phillies.

Walnut Street Theatre, Philadelphia, has elected Jack R. Garfinkle and David Montgomery to its board. Garfinkle is the acting associate general counsel-regulatory of Exelon Corp. Montgomery is chairman of the Philadelphia Phillies.

The PJM Interconnection Members Committee has elected Dean Oskvig and Mark Takahashi to its board. They replace Richard Lahey and Jean Kinsey. Oskvig recently retired as president, CEO, and board member for Black & Veatch Energy. Takahashi is an international financial executive who is chief financial officer of Ascendant Group Ltd., Bermuda. PJM, based in Valley Forge, oversees the electrical transmission grid in a 13-state region.

Adam Devlin, cofounder and owner of New Vitae Wellness & Recovery, has been appointed to serve on Mayor Kenney's Commission on People With Disabilities.

George D. Vermeire has been elected president-elect of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, a statewide organization for physicians holding the doctor of osteopathic medicine degree. He is medical director in the Northeast region for Aetna Inc., in Blue Bell.

Lynne Z. Gold-Bikin has been elected to a one-year term as assistant secretary of the board of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation. The Bar Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She is a partner with Weber Gallagher, Norristown.

The Center City District Foundation has named the following officers to its board: Linda A. Galante, a partner at Stradley Ronon L.L.P., is vice chair; Gerard H. Sweeney, president, CEO, and trustee of Brandywine Realty Trust, is chair; Christophe P. Terlizzi, senior vice president and regional manager at First Niagara Bank, is treasurer; and Richard Vague, managing partner for Gabriel Investments, is secretary. Paul R. Levy, president and CEO of the Center City District and executive director of Central Philadelphia Development Corp., is an ex officio member.

The following were named to the board: Autumn Bayles, vice president of global operational excellence, Aramark Corp.; Emily Bittenbender, managing partner of Bittenbender Construction L.P.; Mariska Bogle, executive director of Philadelphia Hospitality; Julie Coker Graham, president and CEO of the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau; John J. Connors, vice president of Brickstone Realty; Michael C. Forman, chairman and CEO of Franklin Square Capital Partners.

Daniel B. Lundy, a partner with Klasko Immigration Law Partners L.L.P., Philadelphia, has been elected cochair of the IIUSA Banking Committee, a not-for-profit trade association for the EB-5 (immigrant investor) regional center industry.

Amy Rosenberger has been elected president of the Philadelphia chapter of the Labor and Employment Relations Association. She is a partner with the Philadelphia labor, employment, and workers' compensation law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson. A member of the firm's labor department, she represents labor unions and individual employees before state and federal courts and in arbitrations, negotiations, and administrative proceedings.

The Philadelphia Estate Planning Council has elected Huldah A. Robertson president for a one-year term. He is vice president, business development, at Glenmede, Philadelphia.

The Pennsylvania Prison Society has elected Richard H. Lowe to its board. Founded in 1787, the society advocates for a humane, just, and restorative correctional system. Lowe is a partner at Duane Morris L.L.P., Philadelphia.
