Frontier Airlines to hire 100 flight attendants for Philadelphia and Trenton
Ever wanted to be a flight attendant? Frontier Airlines plans to hire about 100 to cover flights at Philadelphia International Airport and Trenton-Mercer Airport in Ewing Township.
The Denver-based carrier will host an open house Oct. 11 and 12 at Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, 4101 Island Ave., near the Philadelphia airport. Check-in is from 8 to 8:45 a.m., and will be followed by a presentation at 9 a.m. Hired candidates will be asked to stay all day.
Applicants must bring current resumes, be at least 20 years old, and have valid passports. Frontier said applicants cannot have "tattoos in these areas: shoulders to fingertips, neck or chest area, behind the ear, and for women mid-thigh to toes. and no multiple piercings." Information is available at www.flyfrontier.com/careers.
Frontier said benefits will include travel, competitive wages, health insurance, and a 401(k).
Airline spokesman Jim Faulkner said that "no flight experience is necessary." Successful applicants must pass physical exams and will be trained. Frontier is hiring for Philadelphia and Trenton "because of the increase in service and larger aircraft flying out of PHL," Faulkner said.
