Met-Pro awarded South American contract
Met-Pro Corp. said today it won an $800,000 contract to supply dust collectors for a South American copper mine.

The equipment is to be shipped by the Harleysville company equipment between August and October.
The dust collectors will be used to recover copper ore and to reduce nuisance dust generated in the mining process. Met-Pro did not identify the customer but said it is a leading copper supplier.
The company said it now has an order backlog of $30 million, its highest ever.
Met-Pro Corp., which had revenue of $91.4 million last year, manufactures product recovery and pollution control equipment.
Its shares were up 9 cents this morning to $15.19 on the New York Stock Exchange.
