Rite Aid extends exchange offer for senior notes

Rite Aid Corp. of Camp Hill said today it had extended - until 5 p.m. today - an exchange offer for holders of its 9.5 percent senior notes due 2017.

The offer had been scheduled to expire yesterday at 5 p.m. The $810 million in notes were first issued on June 1.

The Bank of New York Trust Co. N.A. has been appointed as exchange agent. Requests for assistance or documents should be directed to The Bank of New York Trust at 212-815-3738.

Shares were down 10 cents, to $3.71 in morning trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
