Apparel maker Mothers Work Inc., Philadelphia, has changed its corporate name to Destination Maternity Corp. The company's shares today began trading under the ticker symbol DEST on the Nasdaq market.
Apparel maker Mothers Work Inc., Philadelphia, has changed its corporate name to Destination Maternity Corp. The company's shares today began trading under the ticker symbol DEST on the Nasdaq market.
Chief executive Ed Krell said the name reflects the company's change in focus over the years from a provider of "wear-to-work" maternity clothing to its brands' more comprehensive offerings of apparel and accessories for pregnant women.
Destination Maternity shares were up 6 cents, to $8.50 in morning trading.
