Aqua America buys Pa. water system
Aqua America Inc. announced today that its Pennsylvania subsidiary, Aqua Pennsylvania Inc., has acquired, for $300,000, the water system assets of the Kratzerville Municipal Authority, which serves about 400 residents in parts of Jackson and Penn Townships in Snyder County.

Kratzerville is the sixth acquisition this year for the Bryn Mawr-based company, which is acquiring more of a presence in central Pennsylvania.
Aqua America, a water and wastewater utility holding company, serves about three million people in 13 states, including Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
