Pennsylvania State Police have relocated some Philadelphia operations to a 25,000-square-foot space at the former South Philadelphia military complex near 20th Street and Oregon Avenue now known as the Quartermaster development.

The state police operations now at the Quartermaster complex moved from a location at 6901 Woodland Ave. in Southwest Philadelphia, commercial real estate firm JLL, which is marketing office space at the former military property, said in a statement late last week.

Joshua Sloan, JLL's lead broker on the deal, declined to identify which state police operations moved to the Quartermaster site, although the agency's website lists it as the location of its Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement.

A state police spokeswoman did not return a call seeking further details.

The Quartermaster development, a former 150-year-old military arsenal redeveloped into offices by Sky Management Services LLC of Philadelphia, consists of six buildings encompassing 1 million square feet of office space over 24 acres.

Other tenants include the Philadelphia Police Department's Delaware Valley Intelligence Center and the U.S. Department of Labor's Regional Job Corps Training Center.
