A report of smoke led to an evacuation of a PATCO train in Center City Tuesday night, causing brief delays.
A report of smoke led to an evacuation of a PATCO train in Center City Tuesday night, causing brief delays, officials said.
The smoke was caused by a motor around 8 p.m. and the train was taken out of service at Eighth and Market Streets. Riders were evacuated as a precaution.
Responding firefighters quickly declared the incident under control.
