NOW THAT
Larry Birkhead
has won the DNA Daddy Derby for
Anna Nicole Smith
's daughter,
Dannielynn
, he's brought the baby home to Louisville - in time for the Kentucky Derby.
"It just feels good to be home," Birkhead said yesterday, after stepping off a private jet and walking up to a fence where more than a dozen photographers and reporters were gathered.
Birkhead said he plans to show off the 7-month-old baby to his family in Louisville and "relax and horse around."
He said his plans include attending the Barnstable Brown party on Friday, a celebrity gala on the eve of the Derby. The event is where he and Anna Nicole met when he was working as a freelance photographer.
* In other paternity news, the Georgia woman who claims Chris Rock is the father of her 13-year-old son says she is seeking a DNA test because she's not completely sure.
"If I were 100 percent positive, I would not have requested a DNA test. I would have gone to the lawyers and courts for [a] child support order," Kali Bowyer told the Statesboro Herald Monday. "It's hard enough for a parent of any child to seek such a test, let alone someone in the public eye."
Rock has no idea if he's the father but has acknowledged the two had a "limited relationship" back in the day.
'The people call Miss America'
Miss America, Lauren Nelson, has appeared before numerous judges in her past (talent, swimsuit, etc.) but she'll soon be appearing before a Suffolk County, N.Y., judge to testify against Internet predators.
Nelson said yesterday she had changed her mind and would take the stand in the undercover sex sting that used her as bait - the case looked to be in trouble without her.
Nelson, 20, working with police and "America's Most Wanted," posed as a teenager and lured men into chatting online and meeting her at a home, where police and crews were waiting. Eleven men were arrested in the sting.
Suffolk D.A.
Thomas Spota said Nelson had told prosecutors she did not plan to return to Long Island to testify, but yesterday, the Miss America Organization said she is "fully cooperating" with law- enforcement officials.
Attorney Michael Brown, who represents one of the 11 men swept up in the sting, said he had the right to cross-examine the beauty queen if she contends that she spoke with his client.
"You've now made Miss America a witness," he said.
Our hunch is that poised, pretty Miss America will be a very good witness.

* Danny DeVito is taking an embarrassing visit to "The View" and turning it into a business.
DeVito made a loopy appearance on the daytime gabfest last November, saying he'd had a late night out with George Clooney.
"I knew it was the last seven limoncellos that was going to get me," DeVito said on the show.
Well, they got him. Danny DeVito's 60-proof Premium Limoncello was unveiled Monday at the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America Annual Convention in Orlando.
It's the "best limoncello you ever tasted," he said in a statement.
If you'd like to make an even better limoncello, it's a liqueur made from lemon rinds, alcohol, water, and sugar.
* This doesn't really sound like a
limoncello spot, but Ashlee Simpson's boyfriend, Pete Wentz, of Fall Out Boy, is one of the owners of a new East Village (NYC) bar called Angels and Kings.
Employing an interesting marketing strategy, Wentz told the New York Post's Page Six, "It will be a bit of a dive, which we need. We finally have a place where all our loser friends can hang out!"
Yellow Fever clothing designer Jamison Ernest, a co-owner, added, "This will be a place that anyone can go and have sex in the bathroom and not get in trouble."
Hey, Jamison, crabs are trouble.
* Cuban-born actress Maria Conchita Alonso, who grew up in Venezuela and is a staunch opponent of President Hugo Chavez, plans to play a Chavez supporter in the film "Two Minutes of Hate," which takes a critical view of the outspoken leader.
"It is not going to be very difficult to play a Chavista," Alonso told the Associated Press.
"You know, love and hate are very close to each other," she said.
* Gisele Bundchen ended her
long association with Victoria's Secret.
Instantly, she started to sag. *
