FORMER NBC10 reporter Marisa Brahney, who's now at New Jersey's News 12, had some tragic news to share on her Facebook yesterday: Brahney lost her baby girl shortly after birth.

"After a perfect and fast labor, our little girl Charlotte Madison was born early Saturday morning, but had breathing complications at birth," Brahney wrote on her Facebook page. "After 2 hours of working on her they couldn't save our little girl and we lost her. We are devastated and heartbroken. I just wanted to let my News 12 family know as you have all been so supportive of us through this journey and so many have been checking in on her arrival.

"Please keep us in your prayers."

Hundreds of comments of support were posted on Brahney's Facebook page, including one from former co-worker Dawn Timmeney, who wrote, "I am so sorry for your loss and heart broken for u and Tony. I love u guys and will keep u in my prayers."

Is T.U. grad/underwear model 'Big Bro'?

Temple grad Cody Calafiore has made it to the final round of the CBS real-time reality show "Big Brother." Tonight, we'll find out whether he takes home the crown.

But does he even need the $500,000 prize? Calafiore, a 2013 Temple grad who hails from Howell, N.J., bragged on an episode that he could make more money in a summer, working at his gig as a sales associate at New York-based ADP, than he could winning "BB." But he has another job not listed on his LinkedIn page: underwear model.

Calafiore, whose strategy could be viewed as frat bro who made smart alliances early on, modeled underoos for C-IN2. How'd he get that killer bod? Playing Temple soccer, of course. He was invited to train with the Columbus Crew MLS team for the 2013 preseason.

The finale airs tonight at 9:30.

A 'F---'-ing sequel

Could Adam Mansbach have another explicit hit on his hands? Mansbach's 2011 tome, Go the F--- to Sleep, was a satirical children's book told from the perspective of a pleading parent who just needs his kid to get some shut-eye. Now, Mansbach will return with You Have to F---ing Eat, a self-explanatory sequel that will hit shelves Nov. 12.

He debuted the best-selling Sleep at Philly's Fourth Wall Art Salon while he was an adjunct professor at Rutgers-Camden, where he taught fiction writing to graduate students and lectured on screenwriting and the history of hip-hop.

Will it fare as well as its predecessor, which got the audiobook treatment from Samuel L. Jackson and was optioned for a feature by Fox 2000? I f---ing hope so.

Royal behavior

Original hip-hop goddess Queen Latifah gave $10,000 to the Camden Sophisticated Sister drill team when it appeared last week on her syndicated talk show (airing at 3 p.m. on CBS3 in Philly). The team, which has also appeared on "Dancing With the Stars," recently lost its performance space. Team leader Tawanda Jones is hoping to find a new one. To follow Latifah's lead and donate to this wonderful organization, go to camdensophisticatedsisters.org.

L.A. stars honor Alex

Los Angeles is getting in on the locally based Alex's Lemonade Stand movement at the fifth annual L.A. Loves Alex's Lemonade Stand event. "Modern Family" stars Ty Burrell and Nolan Gould, Jimmy Kimmel, cooking-show goddess Giada De Laurentiis, Laura Dern ("The Fault in Our Stars"), Gillian Jacobs ("Community"), Max Greenfield ("New Girl") and more all came out to help raise money to fight pediatric cancer last weekend.

WNJC gains new shows

"The Reverend" Bob Levy will host a new morning show on WNJC (1360-AM) starting Oct. 6 from 5 to 6:30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Levy also appears on the similarly new Philly Beerman Show, airing Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m.
