Delaware Valley College will officially become Delaware Valley University on Wednesday, and school officials have scheduled a series of events to celebrate the change.
DOYLESTOWN Delaware Valley College will officially become Delaware Valley University on Wednesday, and school officials have scheduled a series of events to celebrate the change.
They are scheduled to unveil new signage, a new logo, and a vision for the university's future, and announce a $1 million gift to support a new institute.
After the announcements, a pep rally is scheduled for the Student Center auditorium.
Guests are expected to include acting Pennsylvania Secretary of Agriculture Russell Redding, State Rep. Katharine Watson (R., Bucks), Bucks County Commissioner Robert Loughery, and the mayors of Doylestown and New Britain Townships. - Inquirer staff
