NASCAR racing (8-11 p.m., ESPN2) - Tonight's Carquest Auto Parts 300 should be stocked with Busch Series regulars as well as those dreaded double-dippers from the Nextel Cup circuit, which holds a race here tomorrow. Defending Carquest champion Carl Edwards and Kevin Harvick are among those who run both schedules full time, and through 10 Busch starts this season, they were 1-2 in the standings.
Over the Hedge (8-9:30 p.m., HBO) - Animated animals rule again in this entertaining 2006 comedy. Bruce Willis supplies the voice of a raccoon who needs to replenish the food stash of a bear (voice of Nick Nolte) from whom he unwisely swiped some nourishment. Garry Shandling, Steve Carell, Wanda Sykes, William Shatner, and singer Avril Lavigne voice other creatures.
NBA Playoff Basketball (8:30-11 p.m., 6ABC) - After battling their way past the Phoenix Suns, the San Antonio Spurs are up two games to none over the Utah Jazz heading into game three of the Western Conference Finals. Jazz star Carlos Boozer will do his best to hold off Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, and the rest of the Spurs, who are on a quest to win their fourth NBA championship in the last nine seasons.
Dark Storm (9-11 p.m., SCI) - In this terrifying new tale, an experimental weapon malfunctions in the laboratory, giving a scientist the ability to control the weather. In the right hands, this might not be a terrible thing, but this is a Sci Fi Channel movie, so you know there's trouble ahead. Stephen Baldwin and William B. Davis lead the cast.
