Minority Report (8-11:10 p.m., 6ABC) - Scary for its very premise - but then, sci-fi author Philip K. Dick was good at that - this 2002 thriller envisions a future in which you can be convicted of a crime you haven't committed yet. That's because of clairvoyant mutants called Pre-Cogs. Supposedly, they're never wrong, but occasionally one disagrees - the "minority report." A dissenting Pre-Cog is the only hope of a certain cop when he's branded as a killer. Tom Cruise stars.

John Tucker Must Die (8-9:30 p.m., HBO) - Revenge is the aim of three young women (Sophia Bush of One Tree Hill, singer Ashanti, and Arielle Kebbel) who unite to even the score with a mutual ex-boyfriend (Jesse Metcalfe of Desperate Housewives) in this comedy from actress-turned-director Betty Thomas (The Brady Bunch Movie). The trio sets up a school newcomer (Brittany Snow of American Dreams) to break the cad's heart, but everyone learns a lot in the process. Jenny McCarthy also appears.

NBA playoff basketball (8:30-11 p.m., TNT) - Can LeBron James possibly top his unbelievable performance in game five of the Eastern Conference finals? After scoring the Cleveland Cavaliers' final 25 points while leading them to victory and a 3-2 series lead, King James and his supporting cast will try to close out the Detroit Pistons at home and earn the Cavs their first trip to the NBA Finals in the process.

MythBusters (9-11 p.m., DISC) - This two-part special edition is rated "Arrr!" Yes, it's all about pirates. Hosts Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage and their team put several pieces of pirate lore to the test, including whether an eye patch can help you see better at night and whether a bottle of rum can get clothes as clean as a bottle of Wisk. The most explosive test involves cannon fire, as the guys try to determine which does more damage - the cannonball or the shrapnel it creates.
